If there is a sporting injury or dysfunction in an area of the body it is usually there as a result of being over-worked or over-stretched. Rehabilitation is great for building strength, function, balance and range of motion back into the affected tissues.
Thankfully rehab can be a lot more than just working on the initial pain site. Generally, if there is lack of movement in one area of the body whilst performing a movement (even a movement as simple as walking), there is no choice but for the forces to be transferred to an alternative tissue (joint, muscle, ligament) that is mobile or able to do the job.
At the clinic we do everything to reduce pain initially, but as we progress our patients we feel it is essential to look for the real mechanical reasons behind the dysfunction - the final piece in the jigsaw.
We can help you achieve nothing less than a full recovery.
